What type of sports or exercise is right for you ?
Progress happens during a personal training or in a group . This is important because there are those who advance faster and are more advanced. In our group, everyone advances at their own pace. There is no reason to rush anywhere . Drilling and practicing helps everyone advance and see his / her own pace. The idea is to train consistantly and come regularly. And the results - come - every practice is better than the previous workout . And this is how it should be .
Self-defense - I know . But taekwondo ? And high kicks ?
This is Taekwondo, a Korean martial art from Seoul , Korea . It is now in the Olympics when the emphasis is on the combat side and the para-Olympics with fighitng and technical together. The idea is to have the technical in the Olympics whic h is a work in progress. . . The technical aspect consists of remembering and performing certain movements in a particular order . Adding to that work with weapons , self-defense - and, breaks, and you have some of today's Taekwondo . It's lots of fun and suitable for all ages .
